LANZONES

Barangay Lanzones is composed of eight (8) zones and six (6) sitios namely: Altomar, Lunawi, Sapabonga, Buenakapok, Zone - 4, and Lanzones. The Barangay has infrastructures such as Chapels, Multipurpose Hall, Covered Court, and Elementary Schools. The Barangay Health Center is situated at Zone 2, just a few kilometers away from the Barangay Hall. The dotted areas as shown on Figure 20 denotes the households that were interviewed by the medical students. However, only the households along the service road were catered by the Barangay Health Workers who accompanied the medical students have advised them to not go further as the pavement was not passable and brought about the inclement weather during the time of interviews. The zone with the high cases of Dengue has also been reported on Zone 7. With this, as shown in the spot map on Figure 26, Zone 7 is located near the Pasobolong River, as well as the Buenakapok Elementary School which may also give us an idea that with these two landmarks alone, there may be presence of breeding sites especially on the latter landmark as it has been evident with yard debris such as used tires filled with stagnant water and are just left unattended in the premises of the elementary school.
